Warranties

Items requiring installation such as car audio electronics (amplifiers, head units, speakers) only carry their full warranty when professional installed by a reputable company, Proof of professional installation is required with any warranty claim. 

Speakers and subwoofers with destroyed, burnt or blackened voice coils are deemed abused or misused, and are therefore not covered by manufacturers warranty’s.

The buyer is responsible for compatibility of the product.

All sales are final unless items are found to be damaged, defective or fit within our 30 Day Returns Policy.

Items with a manufacturing defect must be reported within the stated manufacturers warranty period. We will repair or replace the product at our discretion, and have it shipped back to you within a reasonable timeframe.

In the event that the defective item cannot be repaired and a suitable replacement is not available, a full refund will be issued to your nominated credit card or bank account.

No refund or replacement will be given until we have received the returned product.

Products must be returned with all original packaging and contents, accompanied with invoice and returns form.

Returned items with signs of physical damage, misuse, unauthorized repair / tampering or tested as not faulty will be returned to the sender and a standard shipping fee charged.

We will fulfil all of our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

1. General
  1. This SoundX site at soundx.co.nz, (the “Site”) is a shopping website where you can browse, select and order products from Auto Tint & Sound Ltd trading as SoundX (“SoundX”, “us” or “we)

    The ‘buyer’ refers to any legal entity purchasing from the seller.

  2. The buyers access to and use of the site, including the buyers order of products through the site, is governed by these terms and conditions.
  3. If the whole or any part of a provision of this agreement is void, unenforceable or illegal in a jurisdiction it is severed for that jurisdiction. The remainder of this agreement has full force and effect and the validity or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction is not affected. This clause has no effect if the severance alters the basic nature of this agreement or is contrary to public policy.
  4. This agreement is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place.
  5. The customer agrees not to attempt to change, add to, remove, deface, hack or otherwise interfere with this website or any material or content displayed on this website.
